Membership -- New or Update

IDAA is an organization of women and men who have doctorate degrees or are in active pursuit of such a degree in the health care professions. We are physicians in nearly every specialty, dentists, veterinarians, educators, psychologists, pharmacists, and other health care providers. Doctors in Al-Anon are also members. MS, BS, PA, RN, BS, MFT, LSW, etc., regretfully do NOT qualify unless enrolled in a doctoral program.

The only requirement for membership is the doctor's desire to belong. There are no dues or fees to belong to IDAA. It is assumed that you are in, or want to join, a 12-Step Recovery Program. Membership information is held in the IDAA Central Office in strict confidence to preserve your anonymity.

Contact information is at your discretion. Listing this information implies communications can be sent to you by phone, USmail, or email. All communications will originate from the IDAA Office. An IDAA biannual newsletter and notices of the annual meeting will be sent to the address of your choice.

You can apply for membership or update your existing membership online or get a printable application that you can mail to the Central Office.
