Al-Anon at IDAA

alanon_logo

Our program of recovery is adapted from the Alcoholics Anonymous program and is based upon the Twelve Steps, Twelve Traditions, and Twelve Concepts of Service. Just as AA offers a new way of life to the alcoholic, Al-Anon offers the adventure of a new way of life to the alcoholic's family and friends. Our meetings at IDAA are devoted to understanding our own problems. Over time practicing Al-Anon principles shows us how to cope with our difficulties and we find a more serene approach to life.

Al-Anon's purpose is to help families and friends of alcoholics recover from the effects of living with the problem drinking of a relative or friend.

If you have any questions, comments, or suggestions relating to Al-Anon in IDAA please click here to send a confidential email to the IDAA Al-Anon Representative. Include your email address and/or phone number and you will be contacted directly.
